Iam Basically a journalist with 15 years experiance in print  and electronic. At present I am working for SAMAYA 24 hours NEWS Channel as Input Incharge in Bangalore.

and was worked for CFAR (Centre for advocacy and research) as a State media coordinator.

I started my career as a sub –editor with Kannada daily, Kannada prabha, where I worked for 5 years, then I joined Eetv.

· Worked for Ee TV for five years as a senior reporter from 2000-05 and was in charge of Bangalore bureau from 2003 – 2005.

· Worked for TV – 9 and India TV as a Correspondent 2005 – 2006.

· Worked for India Home Guide English magazine as a special correspondent in Bangalore . 2006 -2007

· Worked for Asianet Suvarna news channel as a Chief of Political Bureau from 2007 to 2009.

my specialisation is in Investigative Journalism especially and expert in “Larse Muller” method of investigation , political journalism and development journalism.

Regularly wrote and done stories for different news papers and channels on Human rights violation related issues, Mining, BMIC controversy, Law violations, Systemic lapses, against corruption, constantly done stories on women, child and labour related issues. Regularly contributed stories on irrigation issues such as Cauvery, Krina water controversies. Done hundreds of stories on political developments. Interviewed almost all politicians of the State.

Last two year performance:

Last year, assembly election was the biggest event happened in the State. During the elation time I have done more than 100 political interviews which includes follow the leader half an hour stories, special interviews of political personalities like former PM H.D. Devegowda, Former CM H.D. Kumarswamy, Mallikarjun Kharge, B.L. Shankar, D.B. Chandregowda, C. Narayana Swamy, D.K. Shivkumar, R.V. Deshpande, D.V. Sadananda Gowda, G.N Nagraj, Venkaiah Naidu, Shambu Srivatsava etc.

All major political parties’ candidates’ chit chat interviews were conducted by me. Starting from announcement of election to oath taking ceremony I broke hundreds of political decisions, moves, inside stories. BJP’s “Operation Lotus” was covered by me very efficiently. I broke not only the stories but also shown exclusive visuals when first three MLA’s quit congress and JDS and joined BJP. Lots of curtain raiser stories had been done by me on “operation kamala” telling the viewers who may quit to join BJP.

Done series of stories on BMIC issue, Devegowda’s legal battles, illegal mining and Lokayukta issues. I am one of the experts who can talk on BMIC issue authoritatively. I have been keeping track on this issue starting from frame work agreement signed in 1995, Somashekar reddy case judgment, townships, peripheral roads, link road issues, connectivity, land acquisition, new consortium offers, judicial observations, judgments, and contempt petitions.

On each political party’s meetings, gatherings, closed door discussions I have done the inside analytical stories including AICC meetings held in Delhi . My contact is so good that even micro developments in any political party I get the news first through informers. I used to talk to top leaders of all major political parties to know the pulse of the political developments. For every political development I have given live chats explaining the exact reason behind the move, meeting, the gain and loss of the each leader. Presently I am concentrating on power centric leaders like former PM H.D. Devegowda, Chief Miniser B.S. Yediyurappa, former CM H.D. Kumaraswamy, Congress working president D.K. Shivkumar, Ananthkumar, Siddaramaiah moves.

I have broken hundreds of Govt policy decisions and transfer issues news.  Given analysis, reasons even matters like transfers.

I, myself done dozens of stories on two cabinet ministers namely Krishnaiah Shetty and D.Sudahakar, who were involved in corruption cases. I brought confidential charge sheet documents of CBI which was handling corruption cases of these ministers.

When I was in Ee Tv, I was the one who filmed the police constables who were collecting “mamool” (bribe) and got them suspended. It was the first ever sting done by a Kannada tv channel but without impersonation or inducement. It was shot openly as it was. It was appreicated by every one.

Later I also got it shot MS building security people corrupt practices, they used to collect money to let people inside the MS office. They were threatning people who do not pay for entering the public MS building. It was also shot in a day light. I was the one who showed whole Kannada media world that corruption also can be shot. In this case 6 people were suspended.

During that period only, I also filmed buses who violated permits which were operting on National Highways. I travelled from Bangalore to Gubbi and filmed each bus. Based on my report transport department officials that too joint transport commisioner Suleman initiated action on violators and collected huge penalities from them, seized several buses.

APMC act violation story, Land reforms act violation story, Wild life protection act violation, Tax evation, Check post  corrupt practices filming stories were my best stories.

I was the first ever journalist in Kannada electronic media histroy who gave first ever PTC which was about Dr Rajkumar, shot in front of Dr Raj old house in Gajanoor, Talavadi police station limits, Chamarajnagar, during his kid nap episode by then forest brigand Veerappan.

I stayed in the forest for one week during that time twice, which was a rare experience for me. Recently I had been to Bandipur forest, I went for a safari inside the thick forest without any security, was my best other experience which I will never ever forget.

When I was working for TV9, I used to drive, operate camera, writing script and carrying tri pod, I used to work as a single unit. I used to send feed for India TV and TV9 from Bangalore, for TV9 I was senidng feed from Jayanagar Sify and for India TV Cunningham road reliance web world.

When former minister Chennigappa was manhandled by JDS workers I was the first to break this news and got phono from the minister who was lying on the bed with bleeding injuries.

During the assembly and bye election election, I have done series of stories on aspirants, probable’s and final lists of candidates of all political parties with breaking news.

Even during the counting day with nice graphic visuals Suvarna was the first channel to announce all result. As soon as the result was out I was the first one who broke the news of independent MLA’s who took a decision to support the BJP govt. I did an exclusive story on Mr Kheni meeting with some of the JDS MLA’s when the election results were out.

All major rallies, protests, conventions, executive committee meetings, dissident activities, and conferences of Congress, BJP, CPI, CPM, NCP, SP, BSP and JDS I have covered.

I have invited more than 200 political guests to various political discussion programmes in our channel. I myself conducted more than 100 episodes of news and vies programmes in suvarna channel. Done “Game” a walk the talk programme with sports personalities. Ashwini Nachappa, Arjun Halappa, Poonam Belliyappa, Deepak Chougale, Vinay Kumar, Umpire AV Jaiprakash, Ashish Ballalal, Sunderraj, State tennis association secretary, M.P. Ganesh former Indian hockey team captain, Dodda Ganesh are few among them whom I interviewed.

I conducted “Maidana” live half an hour programme continuously for 2 months without break during IPL series and Beijing Olympics. I invited more than 25 sports personalities for studio discussions. Mr Anil kumar was the permanent guest who had a contract with the company.

I did special interview based programmes on State financial situation, on irrigation issues and on AKKA convention.

During September I had gone to USA to cover AKKA convention, after that I toured across USA for 40 days in a stretch visited Washington DC, Newyork, Sanfancisco, Houston, Orlando, Chicago, Pennsylvania, Indianapolis, Los angeles, Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, Niayagara and Detroit. I gave a visit to CNN channel studio in Atlanta . I traveled more than 56 000 km all alone, during this visit I have done 35 half an hour stories on rural American’s life, Amish community, Kannadigas life styles in US as well on historical places. Aired 5 episodes out of 35.
